I don’t think you know what nostalgia means
“City of Jerusalem” by Jesper Kyd from the Assassin’s Creed original soundtrack
One of my favorite games, and some of my favorite game music…

Audiosurf is a pretty fricken awesome game. I thought it was awesome last year when a friend of mine showed me it, but I didn’t think it was awesome enough to buy. However, I bought it yesterday because it was on sale on Steam for only $1.49 - a deal I couldn’t pass up. So I’ve been entertained with that for quite a few hours now. Hopefully I can still concentrate on school when I go back to college in the fall.
If you aren’t familiar with this game, basically you follow this track collecting colored blocks to build combos and avoid gray blocks. The cool thing though is the track and blocks move along with the music… with blocks appearing on the beat, more frequently with the “intensity” of the song, and your speed increases or decreases with the tempo.
The even-cooler-thing is you can select ANY song you want from your personal music library, and it will build a track for that song. Just… so cool.
Secret of Mana, one of my absolute favorite SNES games growing up. Back when games were more about the epic adventures and amazing storylines than fancy-looking graphics.
One of the best soundtracks, too. On par with Nobuo Uematsu and Yasunori Mitsuda.
And this is one of the most hilarious finishing moves I’ve ever seen hahaha
I would buy one of these, whatever it is (a pillow?)
And I still want one of these, too!
