see my little brother’s problem, from what I understand, is that he’s valedictorian and he knows he wants to go to college, but he just doesn’t have any particular interest in any specific field, and thus can’t decide what to major in/do for a living.
MY problem is, I have too many interests in a variety of different fields, and thus can’t decide what to do for a living. my short term plan is to just finish up my computer science degree, then I’ll decide what to do from there. but I currently have no intention of jumping into a career as a computer programmer right after college.
maybe I’ll continue going to college and earn another degree. maybe I actually will start a career right after college, but in a field completely unrelated to my major. who knows.
It’s going to be a grim day when the world is run by a generation that doesn’t know anything but what it’s seen on TV.
